Hello folks,

I have been a long time lurker since picking up a very clean 98 sport a few months ago and starting to get into making it into a more capable offroader. I'm not new to either wrenching or off-roading, but new to explorers. This forum has been a fantastic resource so it is time to register.

So far I have:

Swapped 4-door springs
Warrior shackles and TT
Replaced all cluster bulbs with LED
Rebuilt the valve body with a superior kit and ford tsb parts
Installed 285 75 16 tires and chopped the belly for a full size spare
Broke some plastics through the "self-clearencing" process on the trail

Tom, welcome to the forum. My wife drives a 99 Sport that I also installed the Warrior shackles & did TT, sits nice now.

Yes I do! And not at all. Well, maybe many generations back, but not to our family's knowledge. I am however Ukraine-born & raised for what that's worth, moved to Canada in the 90s like many of us did after USSR fell apart. Glad to leave all those Ladas behind
