Hello I just bought a 2002 ford explorer and having problems with it

I just bought a 2002 ford explorer and the air bag light is on and it flashes 33 and also my cruise control does not work. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem. This is my first explorer and have alot of plans to modify is to make it as mean and nasty as I can , (WITH ALL OF YOUR HELP OF COURSE)! Thanks

welcome to the club! not sure what the 33 code is, but one thing you should definitely do is go get a haynes manual. it'll pay for itself once you start using it. one of the best investments i think.

Welcome to this forum! Does your horn work? Did you check the yellow connector under the seat?

I also took the yellow connector apart and blew on it and it still flashes 33. My horn does work but my cruise control does not. Tha cruise control light comes on but does not activate the steady speed.Also the gas pedal seems a little stiff. I just bought this ford explorer, it is a 2002 XLS with the 4.0 and is 4X4. The thing is in mint condition with no rust and has flawless interior with 100000 miles on it. I gave 3500.00 for it and the only issue is the dam airbag light and cruise control!!!! I really dont want to take it to a ford dealer and get raped by them. Also I want to thank everyone for the invite.
