I bought a 2002 Explorer Sport off an Auto Auction through my shop with only 70,000 miles on it. Besides the tires being loud and annoying never really any problems with the truck itself. Looks like the Transmission was a rebuild and no noises or leaks. I was under this week doing my oil change and noticed the front Diff was leaking a little and starting hearing a noise coming from what seems to be the driveshaft. Id really like to drop the axle and replace the seals. In order for me to make it easy whats the easiest way drop the axle completely or can i drop the crossmember. Didnt spend to much time looking at it so i cant tell yet whats the best way. I figure if i do the seals i may as well do both axles and change fluids in the Transfer case to!
