Hey, Whats up, Nice site!! New member here. I have a 1993 explorer XLT. I bought this truck for my wife a few years ago from my father. He had it since it was new and he now has a 02. I just put a rebuilt motor in it, its been a great truck. I want to get add-a-leafs for it to fix the sagging rear springs. Anyone know what brand works best. I just want to level it out. I used to tow alot with this truck, so that added to the sagging springs too. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.......Bob

Greetings from the best Explorer resource on the web. Expect "Sam" to greet you soon.

I've now owned 4 Explorers with a '93 being my first. Bought it new, factory ordered. Anyhow, have you considered going to a junkyard and getting leaf springs from a newer Explorer? They used the same springs for a LOT of model years (into the 2nd generation, you have a 1st). In theory you should be able to get springs from an '01 4 door which could solve your problems.
