i stumbled across this sight when searching for tranny adj for my explorer. and read the post that google suggested for me to read. it helped me on the info i needed. but im also having more problems than band adj. it will shift fine untill lock up i have to let off the gass for it to go into lock up. but when i let off the gass to slow down then step on the gas again it seems like nothings there. i have to get the rpms up to 3,000 before it engages anything. and on another note. will a tcase out of the 86 ford bronco 2 work in my explorer? my eletronics quit for my 4x4 and want to man shift my 4x4 in my self.

Welcome to this forum! It sounds like you might have a broken band.

thanks for the reply. im goin to try to tighten the bands on monday and go from there. but this being my only vechile at the moment so i cant do to much.
