Hello,

I'm new to the site. I was told about it by a fellow Explorer owner.

I have a 2001 Explorer Sport Trac.
Mods:
AEM Brute Force Intake
17"x8" Mustang Bullitt Wheels

I also have my daily driver, which is a 2004 Subaru STi
Mods:
Too many. lol

Well, I just want to stop in and say hello!

Well, I work at The Tire Rack, and they told me that there was no way to fit the Mustang wheels on my Sport Trac, but I proved them wrong. I bought the tire/wheel package and put them on. At first they rubbed on the front sway bar when the wheel was turned all the way, but I just put a 5mm spacer on the fronts, and I've never had a problem since.

So it's a 8" wide wheel with a 30+ offset off a Mustang, and it fits.

Well, I would love to pull the engine and rebuild it, since it has about 140K on it.

But I'm also looking into some kind of a good suspension for it. ^_^
