New member - first Ford was Baby Bronco '89, then skipped to '98 Explorer XLT 4x2 (175,000 miles) and now '06 XLT 4x4.

I do have a question and don't know where to post so will start here: is anyone else being blinded by the reflective ring trims, door handles, gear shift knob and trim? I resorted to putting masking tape on instrument panel trim and door handle. Not real attractive! But it works! I'd like some ideas of a more permanent and appealing solution.

Thanks

Welcome to Explorer Forum! Paint them hot rod black. If you go to carquest the number on the can is T3. It will give you the look your wanting, unlike flat which is dull, and gloss, too shiney. Hot rod is perfect. Happy posting!
