I'm Melinda and i have a 1998 ford explorer Eddie Bauer edition
i've had my explorer for almost three years and have never had a problem with it
all of a sudden today the key breaks (the top part of the key)
anyhow i go to start the suv and it want start
the theft light blinks very fast
could someone please help?

Welcome to this forum! Did the key break off in the ignition clyinder? If so, did you get it out or is this still an issue? The new key has to be programmed.
