Hi,
Glad to be part of this group. I have a 2004 explorer eddie Bauer
4.0 ltr. It's going through its cranky stage were things wearing out a lot faster. So its good to be able to go to one site to get help. And to share any experiences repairing it that may help others. Ive been less than satisfied with the air flow of the a/c.
I see it's a problem common with explorers. I would appreciate some advice to deal with the solution. Thanks in advance.

The blend door can be problematic in the older Explorers.

Use the Google search near the top of each page and try searching for 3rd gen blend door, or 2004 blend door. That should put you on the right track.

Welcome to this forum! When you said that you're not satisfied with the air flow, does this mean that the fan isn't turning fast enough or do you have air only coming out of the defrost vents?
