HELP! 03 ford explorer transmission problems

Scan for transmission codes. Not all code readers will tell you trans codes. Accessing the TCM info can really help. (This may sound stupid but check all the fuses, I seen a trans go into limphome mode when it blew a main fuse for the TCM, we wasted an hour on diag just to find out it was the fuse the whole time.)

Having the same issue however when i rev it up to about 1000-1500rpm it will go into gear... i'm getting a noise comming from the transmission pump sounding almost like when your power steering pump is low on fluid... does this noise mean its low on fluid or is the pump on its way out? Also isn't there an anti drain back valve on the torque converter that doesn't allow the TC to lose its prime? just throwing some ideas out there that ive been reading

you have something thats faulty like an internal leak in the valve body or a leaky pump on the inside.

lol i dont remember but i think i was talking to you....you might not be building enough pressure to engage the clutches and as for it not starting i have never heard of an over fill cause a no start....tranny slippage, hard shifting yes but not that
