I've read the other posts and watched a couple of videos on youtube about how to change the fuel filter on my 2007 Explorer. Regarding the disconnect clips, I've got the white one "off". No matter how hard I try, I cannot get the fuel line off on the side with the white clip. The old filter is pretty corroded - would that be the likely reason that I'm having such trouble? I'm laying in my driveway and can only get one hand up there so there's not much wiggle room.
One the other end, I have the lever flipped up on the red clip but am not sure what else needs to be done to release that end. I can squeeze the opposite side of the clip and have tried to push it back (like the white one), but I can't tell how far it's supposed to go. Also, am i supposed to do anything else with the clip lever that's flipped up??
I really need to get my vehicle running again so any help is greatly appreciated!
