Help a non explorer owner out

Hello ,since this is my first post I should introduce myself first. My name is Mike and I dont own an explorer, but I own part of one.

I am building a 34 chevy hot rod and after reading about the 8.8 on http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Explorer8_8.html I decided it was my best option. Its cheap, its beefy and it comes with big disk brakes. I would like to use a sway bar but the problem is I dont know if my frame rails are wide enough.

Can anyone tell me how wide their stock/hellwigs/or explorer express sway bar is and how long the arm are. I have tried looking at scrap yards and there are surprisingly non available, I even checked at the dealer and was told I would have to special order it and it could take a week and it still may not fit. I am almost tempted to just go driving around parking lots looking for an explorer to crawl under and measure, but I figured before I get the police called on me for doing that I would ask you guys first.

That would help alot.
The more measurements the better. From what I can tell from pictures the arms taper wider than the main bar. Thanks again
