Ok where to start. Yeah first, My car seems to lag. Like i'll be driving and all of a sudden the car will act like I pull the Key and try to cut off, But before it cuts off it chokes and sputters and kicks back on. Or i 'll be driving along and the engine will just lose all power, like the powersteering and stuff like that will keep working but as far as accelleration, nope. It happens alot when I come to stop . Then pull ouit of the stop or driving down the hwy. I pulled codes and it was weird maybe im not reading the codes right but they said the following: Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor signal out of voltage, and two codes I didnt totally get. I just did this one hour ago. Its like 11:21 PM now. ... I was bored. lol. Maybe I didnt read the codes right or some thing? Thought it was spark plugs but wouldnt it have the problem all the time? gonna do them soon and see if it changes anything.
Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Puhleeze Help?

What color is the smoke from the exhaust. Is it normal whitish or is it blue or black?

smoke

black

I had a ranger it did the exact same thing sometimes it would run good and then all of a sudden black smoke and it would bog down on me. That turned out to be a stuck valve. It doesn't mean that it is always stuck it is getting hung up. If thats the problem you'll have to pull the heads and replace the valves.
