help bent axle

ok yesterday i smaashed my truck and my stering is mesed up. that i noticed it goes to the right when the whele is straight, so i started to check it out today and i noticed that the pasenger side weel is almost touching the back of wheel well is it posible that the axle is bent. i looked at every thing nothing looked bent is there any thing that is notrous for that and what would be a good swap if i just replaced the front axle. or could i jsut of mesed up the mounts

My guess would be either the radius arm is bent or the radius arm mounts are bent. These usually bend long before the actual axle housing will.

would the bend be ntoicble i can tell that somthing is bent becas ethe axel cooming out of the pumkin is on a angles to the axel to the wheel and i can c that it ahs moved would it be posible to bend it back and that mounts dont look like thath i could repalce them esily there held in with rivets realy big rivets

how the hell r u supose to ge that 1-1/8 bolt off that radius arm all day i have spent to get that think off im using a 20 ich wrench to get it off and a alot of perntarinign fluid is there a trick or what

if your talking about the spring retainer bolt. You will need a breaker bar (and probably a good 2' section of helper pipe), and a bunch of extensions. It's not that hard with those tools, this is how I removed mine when I did my spacer lift.

no the bolt that holds the raisur arm to the mount that goes to the frame. i have to take it off because my mount has gone to hell

do u have to use a a spring compresor or how do u get those those springs out. and the reason y i broke the bolt one my radius arm bolt so i have to take it out the whole thing .
