I was change the oil on the exp and i thought i investigate a hissing sound that i heard earlier, there is a ridgid vac line that runs from what i assume is the evap to underneath the intake. ther is a switch? under the intake that has 2 wires and a vac tee that has another ridgid line that goes to right behind the throttle blade, the part no is E4ZF-9C915-AA that tee has broke and what is it. I fished it out ooks as if it heading to the can. Is this something i can live without? I called advance and autozone and they cant cross over part nos. Do i need to go to napa or just cap the line at the throttle?

From description it looks like this?
This is the line that supplies vacuum power to the recirc door and heater shutoff. It increases A/C efficiency. You can live without it, you'll have regular A/C, just not MAX A/C. Cap it off at the vaccum tree (end from a BIC pen works fine) until you can fix it. First priority is to stop the vacuum leak. The T is actually a switch that draws vacuum from the reservoir or the manifold whichever is lesser. I've never seen the switch sold, the tubing and connector can be had from a auto parts store.

No this is coming from the evap. the charcoal canister, the line is the size of a pencil and goes from the canister to whatever this thing is . Its electrical has two wires running into it, its under the intake, the line then goes from this into a vacuum port on the underside of the throttle.

Sorry the evap and the T threw me. You have a line that goe from the top of the tank, and then to the cannister. From the cannister it goes to the Cannister Pressure Relief Valve (CPRV) or Cannister Purge Solenoid. The computer opens the valve and sends the fumes into the manifold. There should be a vacuum line sticker next to your hood latch showing routing.
On the 95s the tank pressure is monitored and error codes are set. I do not think the pre 94s and earlier have a monitor. If you cap it off, fumes will build up in the gas tank and swamp the cannister, in this weather I do not think that is good.
Evaporative system Tees and stuff are sold at Autozone, I'll go out and look at mine tomorrow in the daylight. Perhaps someone else has immediate knowledge of the broken part.
