Hi all! I'm looking for some help in how to remove the dash and remove the blend air door. I have searched posts but haven't been able to find a definetive one but I have figured out that this is going to be hell to do. Guess what I really need is a laundry list of screws and bolts to undo and kinda where they are at and how to get at them. It looks like you have to pull the steering column also? Mine is a 95 Exploder LTD. If anyone needs some advice on emissions or audio let me know as I've been putting in some hours in those areas.

Thanks!
Chad

Also, there is a method to repair the door that does not require removing the dash, but does require discharging the A/C system. At least one person posted that it worked for him

Thanks!

I appreciate the help! Man this really makes me hate Ford.. I may just do the dremel tool, tap the door in the heat postion fix for the winter. I've also got a bad head light that isn't a bulb issue. It is a bad termination where ever the wire from the headlamp and the power to the fog lamps meet up. I'm suspecting under the dash.. And my tranny is going bad slowly. Anyone else wish they had a 4Runner? Hehe!

Nope. I think they're ugly, slow, and their interiors are ugly. I like my Explorer a lot better. Obviously I do, since I don't have a 4Runner in the driveway. :D
