Help dropping Fuel Tank

I am trying to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. The book I have and the info I've seen on here say that the filler neck is attached to the tank via a hose clamp. Well of course just my luck, mine is not. I have no idea how to disconnect it. You can push in on the two little "flanges", do I squeeze those togeather and then push/pull on the filler neck? HELP! Hopefully the pic will come thru and some one will know how to help me. Thanks.

Ya, it's the same kind of clamp used on some rad hoses. Just squeeze the tabs together and rotate the clamp around the hose to break the hold on it, then rotate & slide the clamp up the hose off the tank nipple.
