Vehicle Specs:
2001 Ford Explorer XLT AWD
V8 5.0L
Hi, i just recently replaced the Pass side Exhaust Manifold and found that i am having a hard time screwing the EGR Line to the Exhaust Manifold Coupler. Is it possible that the stock line is incompatible with the new exhaust manifold coupler? The Exhaust Manifold is a Dorman and the Part No. 674-329 from Advanced Auto Parts. Do you think that i may have to buy another EGR Line to alleviate this issue?
Dorman puts out an EGR Line for $50.99 (ouch!) at Advanced Auto Parts, do you think this would correct the situation?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards
