Help Engine Coil, 91 Explorer

My Dad is in the process of tyring to get my truck running. He told me that the engine coil? keeps burning up in it. He has replaced it 3 times, and he has no idea why it would keep breaking down.
I don't know anything about engines, and parts ..etc..
But would like some advice that I can print out and give my Dad to help him solve this porblem.
Please Help..

I haven't had that problem or seen any posts regarding it. Maybe you can get more info from Dad and post it. We'd love to help you out.

I think my Dad might have found the problem. He found a wire that was shorted out. So he's going to work on that today and then see if it works.
I'll keep you posted if that worked.
Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm tired of driving my paretns car around. I want my Explorer back!

Well, My dad found 3 wires that were bad, and Viola it drives great! We drove it for over an hour last might and it seems to be back in working condition.

It's good to be driving my Ex again!
