Beefy fender flares that stand up=Xenon Flares. They make them for my 2nd Gen, don't know about your 2001 though.
I have a superlift, 3" body lift, AND glass fenders to clear my 35's on 15x10s. Didn't do it in that order, but that's a longer story (I did 3" BL, glass fenders, and a LOT of cutting in the inner fender well area to fit it first) I wouldn't have had to do the glass fenders with 15x8's because of the additional .75" at full steering lock.
