Hey i just replaced my fog lamps with a brighter 5900k halogen light bulbs, and when i got them both in and turned them on they werent working so first thing i thought was bad bulbs, so i put the ones back in that i took out and tryed them again and they wont working now either when they were fine before i changed what could this be, a fuse maybe? Or did i possibly fool something up when changeing them, can some one please troubleshoot this for me thanks

First check the fuse. More than likely that is the culpret. If it is ok, check if you have 12V at the plug (Use a multimeter or a test light). Let us know what you find, feel free to PM me for further help.

Had the same exact problem on an Excursion last month.

For whatever reason, some type of electrical module times out. Put the new bulbs or old bulbs back in, turn the ignition key on.... better yet... start the Explorer..... they will work.

Watch those suckers though, make sure they aren't heating up your wiring. This is why I was taking fog light bulbs out of my Excursion and replacing them in the first place. You could fry a steak on the wiring with the higher output fog light bulbs in place.
