Front sway bar IFS adjustment bolts??Do they affect ride height??

I am hearing a clunking / more of a poping feel in the front end when going around corners and a bit of a dip.

I checked all the bolts holding the main assemblies and they are good and tight.
THough I was able to tighten the sway bar connects under the A of the IFS.

I am wondering if this should be tight. Or will that affect the ride height of the front end. I dont want to make her sit ****eyed.

Thanks for the fast help.

The bolts that hold the sway bar to the crossmember should be VERY tight. I had a real hard time removing those.

I had a clunk resulting from those things. The factory ones are junk. Get some good Poly bushings on there and you will be fine.

I second the use of poly bushings; made a world of difference for me.

Giid luck,,,,,

Well I torqued all the bolts that connect to the frame and hub assemblies. Then I tightened the sway bar bushing bolts...

I am not sure how much to tighten the bushing bolts as I dont want to over tighetn them. I turned them both about 4x and quit as I felt I could tightem them much more.

Clunk not as prevailent though still there. I hope it is not my steering linkage.

Where can you get the Poly bushing?

Thanks for the help

Here is the tightening specs for the front sway bar.

Aldive,
How much of a difference did you feel? I mean what are these going to do for me, I am planning on replacing both front and rear.

I should grease em up eh?

Thnks

Body lean durning cornering is virtually gone; the truck doesn't feel like a truck anymore.

Use the grease that comes with the bushings.

Keep us posted.

One more thing.

How tight is tight enough. I don't want to overtighten the bushings. Just snug em up or is there a bottom out for the nut?

Are you referring to the sway bar end link bushings or the sway bar bushings themselves?
