Help! I need advice

I have been planning on putting a system in my explorer for awhile but have been making excuses, that was until i blew my factory sub last week. I've been shopping around trying to find good deals since my budget is only $1000. After seeing the ridiculous prices at the chain stores (mobil one and cartoys) i tried a mom and pop shop. They recommended the panisonic 601 receiver, 2 audiobahn aw1200 subs, 2 sets of audiobahn 5x7 (i cant remember the model number but they were rated at 100 rms), a lanzar 1000 watt amp to power the subs, and they said they would have the receiver power the door speakers and if it wasnt enough power for me, we could add another amp in later on. What do you guys think? Is this a good setup or is it crap? Please let me know because i need to get it installed within the next few days.

sounds like a good deal for a complete system. and like they said, you can always add on. maybe put a component set in the kick panels.

Thanks for the reply. I went out today and bought it! They were really great and did it just like i wanted. They even ran cables for the mp3 carputer that i am building for free! I'm excited, now i just need to ask for more hours at work so i can get even more!
