help i think i bluw a gasket

i got a questinon

i am new here and i got a problem

i got a ford explorer 91`

sport editon

and no transmission fluid i think the gasket is blown but i can`t see

when i put the car in drive when the engine is running it it did`t move last night

but i started it up this morning and i drove for about 50 feet and it stopt again is the a pressuer problem or bigger than this

could anybody help me

also i can`t find anything to put the transmission fluid in

i am from holland so please excuse my type`os
i am on curacao one of the dutch antillise

and help is hard to find on the island

the ford dealership is gone cost to much money if it is a bing thing and i was woundering if some-one could atleast give me a indication as what the problem could be

Start by filling it with fluid and look for leaks.
 






I'm assuming you have a 1991-1994 since thats the forum you posted in.

The fill tube for the automatic transmission is at the back of motor on the passenger side. To check it, you normally want the transmision at operating tempurature (hard to do when it doesn't work).

If I remember correctly, there are two holes on the dipstick. The bottom one is for when the transmission is cool, and upper is for when it is warm. So, with the engine running check the level. It should be at the bottom hole. If it isn't, add some more.
