Help installing speakers front doors.

I recently picked up this 1997 awd xlt explorer. The car drives great and I'm in love with it. Now here is the thing... I would like to install a nice stereo in the car but since the car is very well taken care of, I'm a little afraid of taking the doors apart to install the speakers. I have done many instalations in the past but with this car, I don't want to break something and then have nasty rattles. I want to keep everything tight. Basically I need some help from someone who has already taken this kind of doors apart so that I can be guided on what is the best way to get it done. The "push buttons" that hold the door i will replace for new ones since once you take the door apart they usually brak and don't hold as well there after. welcome to the site, you found the right forum, jsut do a search for door panel removal... tons of info on here... the door switches dont actually have to come out, they unclip, and shouldnt need to be replaced after you take the panel off... the panel is clipped on with pegs... they are plastic and stepped... they make tools to get these out without destroying them.....

Up at the top of the page on the right hand side of the little dark bar there's a button that says "Search" it has a little triangle next to it. Just press that, put in what you want to search for in the little box that pops up, and then hit "go".
