Help!!- Interior question

My 91X's Leather seats are craked and falling apart.....(just the front driver and passenger side seats) I noticed that the leather is attached to the seat like a second skin. ( making it removable)

I am sure others out there have experienced this problem. My question is: IS THERE A WAY TO REPLACE THE LEATHER SKIN PORTIONS OF THE SEAT???

(without buying a new seat)

any good upholstery shop should be able to do it with out any problems. but to replace it with leather can get kind of expensive. it my be cheaper to find a set in a junk yard near you that are in good shape.

Do a search on ebay for "leather explorer"
(www.ebay.com) There is a distributor who frequently sells the leather "skins" or covers for around $600 plus shipping. I have heard that once installed properly, they fit perfectly and look like OEM materials.

It's actually a pretty regular occurance I think, it happened to mine, and I've seen pictures of other people's doing the same...
