Hello i AM going to be repainting my whole Interior in my 1992 explorer becouse it is blue and i want it Dark grey.
What kind of piant is good to useOr is there a Dye i can use.
I went to napa and found some Dupli-color Vinyl Paint but is'nt the panels in the explorer plastic.Has anyone done this.Also the person at napa siad i should use a Flexible parts primer before i use spray the Dupli-color Vinly Paint

I know I painted the inside of my Grand prix a silver color and I used spray paint I bought at Pepboys. Here is what I used

"Dupli-Color's Truck & Van Paint"
It says it is an acrylic Laquer.

I cleaned the parts very well before painting, and then applied the spray in very small layers, let it dry, reapplied another layer, about 5 - 6 times.

Its been about 2 yrs now and never a chip! :) Still looks wonderful.

I plan to do my Explorer next, not sure what color yet... Might even re-upolester my seats too with a custom look...
