My left low beam is out and the bulb is fine. I've checked for power on the "white with Lt Green" and it's dead. I've checked for power at the #4 post in the interior fuse panel and I've got power there.

Is there another junction box I can test at?
Is there a handy way to just run another wire?
I've thought about running a wire across from the right low beam and perhaps putting a 20 amp fuse there. How about that idea?

Any help is appreciated.

I was just checking previous threads on this topic and replacement of a Power Point Controller (part no. FMC F77Z10K910 AA) came up. Anyone know what that is, if there's one on a 96LTD and if that might be the problem?

It looks like many people have had this problem, but I didn't find any good suggested approaches to troubleshooting the wiring. That would be very helpful.

Thanks, Ron

Not sure about that part. Do you have the center console computer? If yes, the lamp out module in that goes bad and causes headlight problems as well.

Tom;

I'm pretty sure that I do have a center console computer because I get all the annalysis of fuel mileage, anything out, oil change, air ride problems,etc on a screen on the console. Can I determine if that's the problem by going to an autoparts place that does computer diagnostics or does Ford have to do that for me.

I'd just get the lamp out module and change it. Not sure there is any diagnostic for it.
