i was dumb and locked my wheels in one direction and turned the truck off. i went to straighten them up and low and behold i couldnt turn the tumbler over. being dumb i tried to force it and broke the rod that comes out of the end of the tumbler to lock the steering column. ford garage wants 3 hours labor to drill out the rod. does anyone know of a way that someone not so mechanically inclined can get the rod out of the column? i am carless until i can get this fixed. any help is appreciated.
