help me pick my next mod!

here's what i have so far on my 2001 sport

-monroe shocks
-ventvisors
-hood deflector
-upgraded brakes
-drilled airbox
-front grille
-fog lights

i'm looking to spend around 200-300 on the X this time around.

i'm not into offroading, and i'm not going for all out speed. i would like it if the ride were a bit smoother, but it looks like i can't do much about that.

i think i might go pick up a KKM. i tossed around the idea of an exhaust too - just a muffler tho, not the whole system (it would mainly be for the improved sound)

any other suggestions? i don't really wanna do anything to the stereo.

i thought about getting one of those alarms w/ remote start off of ebay... but they seem almost too cheap to be true (lots are under $75!)

what would u guys do?

hey alec i like your gti - i traded in a 2002 1.8t for my X.

are there any other relatively cheap exterior upgrades i can do?

i was also thinking about doin some hood scoops... but i'm not sure...

The scoop painted and done will run you 300 alone just about, no real room to do KKM/exhaust. Most shops would charge around $100 or more for a muffler replacement and a tip welded on, KKM is $100, the muffler (depending what you get) should be around $50-80, I think you got yourself covered.

You already have a drilled airbox, so I suggest you just get the exhaust done and perhaps get the windows tinted? Upgrade exterior bulbs/new fogs/driving lights? I don't know what you're going for, but you get the idea. Good luck.
