Help me please someone 99 4x4 abs light always on

99 ford ranger check engine light is on code says speed sensor both speed sensors replaced diff and trans no speed showing also abs light on truck has 4 wheel abs sys. originaly the abs pump stayed on so i swapped it and pump ran good but cant get rid of abs light any info would be extreamly appriciated ive wasted many hours on these problems with no outcome. both bearings are new so are the sensors. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1479383#

What is the actual OBDII codes and please use some punctuation.. Your first post in this thread is very confusing..

if you ABS light is on, it could be a bad ABS sensor in the front.. More than likely the wheel bearing/hub assembly. flashing 4WD lights, do you know the number of flashes? 6 maybe?

ABS Flashing Lights

I had the problem in my 99 Ranger.

There is an ABS sensor in the rear pumpkin. It is held in by one hex bolt I believe, and is inexpensive. Before replacing it, first pull the connector and putting a jumper across. If the lights go out, then it is the sensor. The next step will be to pull the sensor and clean it. If this helps fine, otherwise replace the sensor.

replaced both sensors transmission and pumpkin ill try jumping them . the my abs light stays on and when i go to any shop my abs doesent reply back to any computer

my inspection is over and im out of comission please help im in Houston Texas where it wont get a sticker .Also I pull trailers 4 times a week p washer and boat Help.Also tranny only has no 1st gear im swapping complete t case tranny and adapter any tips 99 ford ranger4x4 xlt. 4x4 lights flashing. when you rebuild the shift motor does that fix this problem? I have all parts. I have 2 totaled rangers they both are slow roll overs so all parts are good any suggestions would be great Help.Also I have the jett stage 2 off road chip K&n Filter Also bought the super chip,The jett tire size adjustment chip.None of theze are installed because they wont do anything with out all my problems fixed Check engine ABS Thank you so much thanks to anybody thats keeping this website alive




found out the problem was a bad abs module bought a new one now I need to take it to ford to reprogram ....

more info replaced both speed sensors all o2 sensors, both wheel bearings both front wheel bearing abs sensors, Have a auburn gear rear diff, 4.11 gears,superlift 4 inch And 3inch body 35 inch tires 4.0

help I got new problem truck starts and runs but now when i accelerate it boggs out almost to where it shuts off 1999 4x4 4.0 4wabs what could this be and is there a way to check the 02 sensors with a ohm meter ? please someone reply

Take to a repair shop and hand over your wallet. That thing has lost of issue .Or you just go get another truck if you need one that fast.
