help me please with my blinker and hazards its weird

tonight my blinkers and hazards went out after i re adjusted my steering wheel lower then i was messing with fuses and saw everything was good re adjusted my wheel up to the highest it can go and they work and if i put it any lower they stop working? is this weird or what, they only work when my steering wheel is the highest it can go, any tips on how to fix this because i cant drive with it so high!? please help me

that would be your multi function switch or mfs
do a search, its really easy to take a apart. i did mine in 15 mins.
you might just have a loose wire or 2
 






If mine is in the lowest position they don't work, but i don't know if that make is a common problem. i haven't taken the column apart to mess with it because i never use it at the lowest setting.

This happened to my '98 F-150. The wires inside the steering column had seperated and when I'd lower the tilt all the way down, the signal lights would stop working.

It's no wonder the wires had seperated though, as the wires were ridiculously tight when the steering wheel was lowered. Add cold winters and hot summers and what do you get?
 






very common problem.. i have the same problem, just my steering wheel can't be all the way down or the blinkers/hazards will not work, but if you bring the steering wheel up just one click they work fine...
