I am new to this stuff so here is my question. I have a 2004 ford explore XLT that when I am driving it starts to heat up to the point of reaching the red zone. When I stop at a stop sign however it will go back to normal heat. What do I need to check and maybe change. ANY help would be great. Thank you

feel the top raditor hose and the bottom radiator hoses, do they feel they same temp. if not you have stuck thermostat.
