Help me with backspacing q....

I have the opportunity to buy some brand new BFG MT's 33x12.5's on 10" rims. As far as I can tell there is a limited amount of backspacing....maybe 3/4". I put both fronts on and turned from side to side on level ground and had no rubbing on sway bars or radius arms (with only a minor amount on fenders which will be remedied with a body lift). Is this a good enough check or is there something else I need to do? I here everyone talking 3.625" backspacing but that is on 8" rims....is there any difference?

Backspacing is measured from the mounting surface to the very outside edge of the backside of the rim. Offset is measured from the mounting surface to the centerline of the rim. Hope this helps.
