help me with my 95

i was thinking of putting a flowmaster 40 series muffler on it..i have a few questions though..

if i want to do it myself can i cut the cats and run a straight pipe to the single in and single out flowmaster muffler then use a y pipe for dual outs??

give me some suggestions....im open

You can do anything you want, but you wont pass inspection if you remove or alter the cats. I just did this job, I have the sohc v6. Sounds real good, almost like v8. All I did was swap out the muffler though.
