HELP!!! MSD-6BTM ing on 96 explorerwith coil set-up

Hey guys-
I have a 96 explorer 5.0 302 with the facotry coil set-up

I am up-grading to an MSD ign and NEED bosst retard cause of a supercharger.

I called MSD twice and they are messed up- told me two different things....

the first guy said that i can use the MSD-6BTM if I use there harness part # 8874... for the coil set-up...

then i called back to ask if i needed 2 harnesses since I have the dual coils... and that guy told me that I had to use the DIS4 cause i have non- distributor... and that has NO boost retard-

what gives??
what are you using??? anyone?-

I have the DIS4 and it does have Retard. However, it is only for 4000+ RPM. I noticed no gain in performance or MPG--an expensive experiment.

go with the Crane setup. Quad cam likes it. there is nothing wrong with and yes the crane one can be setup to work with what you have.
