Today we bought my wife a loaded 1998 2wd XLT w/ the SOHC. It's metallic dark grey with a grey leather interior. She's got every option in that thing except a sunroof!!

Now I'm envious as hell!!!

I need my wheels soon or my envy's gonna eat me up!!

Plus, now I'm gonna hafta start messing with hers too, lower it, get some big sway bars, hmmmnnn . . . Hey!Maybe this isn't so bad after all!!

hehe, thats awesome. we actually have 3 X's in our family. mine, my sisters 96 xlt, and my moms 97 sport (we've also had a 91 sport and a 99 sport.) its great having nothing but X's in the driveway :) until i go to my dads house, which is my truck, and his and his fiancee's (sp?) german & japanese yuppie sports cars, bah!

Hey tbomb, Happy Saturday to ya.

Obviously my wheels come first, then lowering Tye's X, but then what?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my stereo right now. A friend gave me his CD changer and I got a 10" sub but I have no idea how to hook up either!

Oh, I finally got ahold of that guy with the Saleens. I'm getting mine Monday. Only prob is I'm going to have to get them powdercoated bcuz they're gold right now. I have to find out if that's possible/kosher b4 I get the wheels. Any thoughts?

Hey YetiX,
If it is REALLY your wifes Explorer then she needs to get signed up in here. We want to hear from her.

I think you will just tell us the things you want to do or wish to do. We want to hear her tell us how you have to BEG to ride in it with her, and you BEG to put mods on it...LOL

yetix, im a huge fan of powder coating wheels. im sure it can be done. good luck with it :)
