Hey Guys, I was driving home yesterday (just 10 miles) and I noticed my check guage light came on and my temperature guage was hitting H or High. When I got home I checked under the truck and there were no leaks and there was enough coolant in the reservoir. I did notice that the reservoir coolant was abnormally calm and didn't look like it was circulating in the engine.

I read some previous posts and it seems like I need to change my thermostat. Any other suggestions and or tips on what the problem is? What should I order from the parts store, just the thermostat or any other parts? I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Raphael

definitly your thermostat !...you better do it fast..it not working at all..

Could be a few different things, but I would start with the Thermostat. It's the cheapest and easiest to replace.

Actually I'd start with the radiator cap as it is the cheapest and easiest fix, then if you are still having problems move to the t-stat, if the problem persists a little more time will need to be put into the diagnosis as it could be anything from a leaky line to block troubles.
