i had a noise as you described on mine as well and it turned out to be the endlink on the sway bar had broken off on that side and was flopping around causing the noise.

not sure if your noise will be the same thing, but it can't hurt to look

thanks alot for your reply. it was the end link, i was so relieve when i found out i would only be spending around 30 dollars instead of who knows how much. both sides are broken and i cant get them out for the life of me, they will not budge. ive tried hitting them out with a hammer and cutting them but i cant get a good angle on them to cut them.

glad it ended up being a cheap fix!! but yes those things can be quite hard to get off especially if they've been on there for a while and are bent like one of mine was. When my friend rebuilt my front end for me he ended up having to cut one of them off, though i'm not sure how he got in there to do it

are they broken off the top or at the bottom?

at the top, I put a 4.5" cutting wheel in there and cut it off

the bottom, I think I put a pair of vice grips on it and kept wrenching at it until the nut snapped off, then just removed it
