Hello Guys,

First timer be easy on me. Any replies are extremely greatful. I could use some help. I have a stock 98 X Spt , and I am looking to lift it and put new shocks (this thing is all over the highway). I have noticed that the rear end droped (fatigued leaf springs I guess). I was looking to lift it 2-3 inches, and maybe down the line get a new set of rims and tires. Any advise on the way to go about this is much appreciated.

Thanks
Franko

you could do a 2" or 3" body lift or you can do a tt and war153 shackles to get about 1.5" of lift. you could also throw an ad a leaf (aal) in the leaf pack to get rid of the sagging do a search on any of the topics and you will find TONS of information.

I've been happy with what I've done. I started with a stock 97 sport and I swapped in the 4 door leaves with the AAL and the shackles. Did the ol tortion twist up front. I was 1.5 inches higher in the front and about 3 inches higher than where I started in the rear.

can i ask where u got the aal from, and do you have a preference of shocks i could put in.

I got the short AAL from Summit Racing. It's just the generic one that fits all types of vehicles. I haven't replaced my shocks yet....so I'll be no help in that department.
