help please

My 99 explorer sport has been giving me some issues. The battery light stays on. Also my volt meter is low. I've gotten a rebuilt altinator and a brand new battery. Also if u try to dive it at night u eventually lose all lights BC its not charging or something. Help

Check for voltage at the back of the alternator if it's good check you ground where it bolts to the engine.
