Help Please

O.K. I have a 01' Explorer Sport 4x4 and I was looking at the 2003 Explorer 17" Chrome wheels and the guy that is selling them told me they won't fit! Is this true, did the bolt pattern change from 5x4.5? If you guys could help I would really appriciate it!!!!!

I think its the offset that screws it up and not the bolt pattern.

I wonder what the difference in the offset is???

I'm thinking the newer Xs are more like FWD wheels. If you stuck them on your X they would be tucked waaay inside the wheel wells and rub on the suspension. But maybe someone will chime in here with a definent answer.
