I posted an earlier thread about "Dies while driving". I replaced the Fuel Filter and the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Did good for a day or two. The problem showed up again. Does anyone know of anything else I can try? I would greatly appreciate it. 68viper

This is a long shot, but a lot of guys here have reported that the battery cables will corrode inside the insulation and cause problems. You may want to replace them with OEM cables. I believe these are the only ones that will fit properly.

Have you checked your battery cables. They are routed underneath the truck and exposed to a lot of wear and tear in the under carriage. If you notice any cracks or swelling in the plastic coating they need to be replaced. Check your vacuum lines running off the octopus for any cracked or loose lines. Also check your PCV valve, do this ny removing it and shaking it with your hand. If it doesn't rattle freely, replace it. Have you cleaned you MAS or your throttle body?
P.S. I found a set of cables at PEP BOYS for about half of what Ford wanted and they were the only place I could find that had a direct replacement.
