Help quick. Need to know if this will work

ok,
so my exaust rattles, i got underthere wiggles the tail pipe and found that its coming from the tail pipe hitting the rear shock.....

what can i do to end this nasty rattle that the two make....besides spending a bunch of money and having it rebent.

Could it just be that one of your rubber exhaust hangers needs to be replaced? If it's not that, you could always try a 'rigged' solution: attach some heat resistant foam or rubber to the shock to cushion, use zipties or a bungie to hold the pipe. Just figure something out Just remember that exhaust gets very hot.

yea thats why i was asking, that tail pipe can get really hot, and if i have to rig it somehow, i was wondering what i could use.....

what material around the house might i find, or could easily purchase that would be heat resistant to those temps

i'm stupid, i fixed it with a hose clamp, after i finally woke up it was an easy problem to fix.
