First of all, I have no idea about back spacking, all I can say is go with with the Original Ford Rims have.

Now, why are you only going to go with a 27" tire? most people go larger when they get a body lift, you, are going to go smaller! you might want to re-think your Tire Size.

BTW, what Island are you on?

I am on oahu:cool: I want to go with the smaller tire size becouse i dont want to big of a tire i dont have 4wheel drive and i dont go off roading i just want that kinda beefe look i might not put on the body lift also will look after i put the tire's on.
I might go with 29's but not sure Why should i go with the stock ford rim's.

Thanks

What is the factory spaceing on a 1992 ford explorer.:D

I think the factory back spacing is 3 3/4 but don't quote me. Also a 15X7 wheel will be fine for a 27x9.50x15 tire.I have 30x9.50x15 BFG AT's on the factory 15x7's and they look great.

I have been looking at some picture's of others explorers and been thinking of useing bigger tire's mabey 29x11.5 or mabey 31x10.5 will i have any problems with the tire rubbing with a 2 or 3 inch body lift.
