ok so, i took off the instrument panel to get to the back of my custom touch screen (its the only way it comes out), and it was tugging pretty hard on the reap wiper controls, so i took it out of the slot. after i was done i put it back in the slot and put everything back on. i tried to turn my rear wiper on and it doesnt work now...i think when it tugged on it, one of the wires came out...does anyone know which wire it might of been and how i can put it back in..because it still lights up and still shoots the washer fluid, but it just doesnt move anymore. thanks!

You may have pulled a wire inside the insulation too, tugging on it- so you may not see it just looking at it. If somehow your switch is bad, I have one. (Motor too) But check your wires to see if any are stretched or pulled out of the connectors.

i looked but i couldnt really tell...

how could i tell?

If you find that the problem is the rear wiper motor, I have one for sale... cheap. :)

i know its not the motor because it worked before i messed with it

the pinout from my '95 ford explorer cd (if it helps)

switch

pin 1 - p/lg - liftgate washer pump output
pin 2 - pk/bk - liftgate mode switch output
pin 3 - bk - ground
pin 4 - w/bk - ingition - hot in accessory or run
pin 5 - gy/r - signal return
pin 6 - r/bk - switch illumination

lots of components to make a wiper work - right and left gate ajar - glass ajar - battery saver relay - some stuff in the gem - and two relays in the auxiliary relay box #1 (one for up and one for down) - the inside fuse panel 23 (15 amp) runs those two relays - position 12 (10 amp) runs the rear switch and the front washer pump - so its probably not that

damn i have no idea what im doing. lol shouldnt of messed with it in the first place...

Ouch! I better start troubleshooting everything as well. I have not got a chance to do that yet as I got the Explorer a week ago. :D

The rear wiper on my '00 Limited does not turn but I can hear the pump running. Are those two functions independent? That is, is there a separate pump and motor and will the pump work even if the motor is bad?
