I went playing in the mud about a week ago and I finally got a chance to wash the X today, after I was done washing it and let it dry the mud that was on the truck was still visible. It left like a water spot type stain where there was mud. I figured that a little wax would take it right off but after I removed the wax it was still there. What can I use to remove the spots?

It's best to have a good wax seal on the truck before you go mudding. This will help repel the mud and dirt and make it easier to wash off.

Only advice I have is to wash it again with plenty of soap.

did you wash it, or just rinse it off with a pressure washer? try hand washing it again, and if that still doesnt work, try some 3M rubbing compound. use it sparingly, and let it do the work (dont rub the hell out of it). ive used the 3M to remove everything from pinstripe marks to spray paint. good stuff.

I hand washed it with a sponge and a car wash brush. I will wash it again to see if that helps and if not then I will try the rubbing compund.
