ugh my mine meter is shot now too. i think its coz i had to get it out to replace some light bulbs. its gonna suck if its really shot. nowhere else to get a cheap cluster here

I am having the same problem with my 93 xlt. We have already tried to grease it and it seemed to help with the jumping issue for a couple of weeks today it went wonkey again.
I had my husband who is a mechanic look at it when we were changing bulbs and the interior dash cover from a donor no visible problems?? Thinking of trying to replace it myself not sure what I'm getting into really gonna talk it over with the old man I'm thinking this one may be better left to him.

I just went to a junkyard, and found a replacement cluster and took the speedo and tach out and replaced mine.
