Press the volume knob in like you are turning the stereo off, but hold it in for like 3 or 5 seconds...A new line will come up on the display (something about speed volume), then I think you use the up/down adjustment buttons to set to your desire. It is in the owners manual exactly how to do it if you have the manual.

i have a problem something like this but mine is a whining sound. as the rpms go up the whining gets higher pitched. but it doesn't get louder as i turn the volume up. what is the issue?

That prolly is an issue with alternator....I cant think of the exact name of that problem tho...

I think its called Speed Sensitive Volume
You should find it in your manual

yup got it jus hold down the power button lol

Haha yea i hate that ****!

In my moms alero, the volume is always WAY off at certain speeds. It usually goes WAY too low too fast!

My buddies f-150 works good, but its still annoying......
