Help Tbars4 shop for a TV, for the X

..If you have any info leading to HDTV's that can be used in the Explorer, post them here please...

...In 2 days all TV signals will only be broadcasted in Digital format and there will be no more anolog tv...I now need to find a tv to replace my great little analog RCA 5"..

...I started looking today and was still surprised how the HDTV portables are still not being found at the stores...

...Stores I went to and they do not carry them:

Fry's Electronic's
Best Buy
Walmart


...I did happen to find a couple 7" HDTV's w/wireless remotes though, and they were both on sale and inventory is sparse...1 was at Target and 1 other was found at Radioshack...

...I did get to play with the one at Radioshack and it will do the job...I am heading off to another Target store to see if I can play with one there..

Your other option is to buy a 12volt one and put a lighter plug into it.

...They are just now making and selling the portable HDTV's in few numbers and they are selling out fast...I know the 2 above will not need a converter box but that information should help others who have RV's...

...From the 10 Target stores in my area, they are all already sold out but, I was able to get a raincheck from them...I definitely want to test the new ones out after the Digital/Analog switch is made tomorrow...

The digital converter will only work if you have a video input, my friend has a 7 or 9" tv in his suburban and it has the portable radio screw in type of antena, so saturday he won't be able to use it, he wanted to replace it already, since he got a car dvd player, so now he must hehe

...Well, I went and did it...

...I bought the last one I could find in the County...I will update and post reviews later but, if anyone else has some info, are searching for portable HDTV's, or know's where to get them, please feel free to post here...:biggthump
